Auction Rules

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO BID. All bidders must registered to bid, only the registered bidder may claim the vehicle. If you need help or rush approval,

call the Cabello Recovery Auction and customer service will walk you through the process. Have your driver’s license and expiration ready.

HOW DO I BID?

Login to the Cabello Recovery Auction Website, CabelloRecoveryAuctions.com . Click View and you will see the vehicles running. Start bidding. 

*** Extra time automatically adds up if a bid is placed 90 seconds before the time is up***

HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE WON ? 

The easiest way is to log back in and check your dashboard for Won Vehicle alerts.  It is your responsibility to check to see if you are the highest bidder. You will also receive an email with the next steps.

IF BID  

An IF bid is a bid placed below the reserve price of an item. Although the bidder is not declared the winner at the end of the auction, they may be contacted by the auctioneer with a counter-offer to purchase the item. The bidder should check their dashboard to find out if they have received a counter-offer.

HOW DO I PAY? 

We accept cash, credit card (3% processing fee will be charged), cashier's checks, and money orders. Cabello Recovery Auction will have the billing paperwork and the keys once payment is received.

NOTE: Not all cars will have keys present, it is the bidder's responsibility to know the status of a vehicle's keys. The buyer's fees are as follows:

$1 - $299 = $25

$300 - $499 = $50

$500 - $999 = $75

$1000 - $1999 = $125

$2000+ = 10%

HOW SOON CAN I PICK UP MY CAR? 

Usually, the vehicles will be billed and ready for pickup by the end of business on the day of the auction. To expedite, please let the auction managers know.

CARS MUST BE PAID FOR AND PICKED UP NO LATER THAN 

48 hours after the auction or you will be charged storage fees of $25 per day. Please contact Cabello Recovery to arrange pick up.

This is an “AS IS Auction” 

We do everything in our power to list the cars condition accurately and highlight the major flaws in advance onthe site. All vehicles sold as is how is, where is. It is the buyers’ responsibility to review and judge vehicle condition before bidding.

AFTER THE SALE IS OVER 

No repairs of any kind. No locksmiths allowed. No gas or batteries can be installed. If the vehicle won’t start, you must arrange for a tow. Cabello Recovery offers flat rate outs, inquire when making final payment. Any tow company wanting to pick up from here, must be insured with general liability, workman’s comp & provide and hold harmless on company letterhead.
